Another Wake-Up Call: Severe Flooding in Southern Thailand
The southern region of Thailand has been severely impacted by widespread flooding across ten provinces: Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Satun, Songkhla, Phatthalung, Trang, Narathiwat, Pattani, and Yala. Within just 24 hours, rainfall reached 300–500 millimetres, marking the heaviest single-day rainfall ever recorded in Songkhla Province and Hat Yai District—and reportedly the most in 300 years.
The extreme downpour has caused rapidly rising floodwaters and increasingly hazardous conditions for residents. As a result, the situation has been elevated to an emergency. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) is raising the response level to Level 4 and establishing an operational command centre to coordinate relief efforts swiftly and systematically.
The Prime Minister emphasized that public safety is the highest priority and urged all relevant agencies to accelerate evacuations, particularly for the elderly, bedridden patients, and individuals trapped in flooded areas. Evacuations to hospitals and designated shelters are being prioritized, along with the delivery of critical supplies, fuel, and communications equipment. All branches of the military have deployed aircraft, helicopters, boats, and jet skis to assist those affected by the flooding.

Weekend Noise Heard in Nichada Area Linked to Muang Thong Concert
Last Friday and throughout the weekend, Nichada and the surrounding areas experienced unusually loud noise starting in the evening and continuing late into the night, causing understandable concern and discomfort for several households.
Many reported ongoing disturbances without knowing the source or reason for the increased volume. Based on the latest information, the noise was coming from a large open air concert held at Muang Thong Thani. Due to changing wind direction during the event, the sound traveled farther than anticipated, reaching Nichada and nearby communities. Event organizers have since issued an apology for the inconvenience and have confirmed that they will explore measures to help minimize similar impacts in the future, by reducing the noise output.
As the year-end festive season approaches, more events and concerts are expected in the wider area, which may result in occasional noise from time to time and cause some disturbance.

Originally scheduled for completion by December 15,2025 - January 15,2026 During this period you are welcome to use the swimming pools at Nichada East Club and Nichada & Natakorn Lake Condominium (N1N2), which are open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
