Separate Waste for a Cleaner Community

Using different colored trash bags makes waste separation quick and easy. We kindly ask residents to separate waste as follows:

🟢 Green Bag – Organic Waste

Food scraps, fruit peels, leftovers (for composting)

🟡 Yellow Bag – Recyclables

Plastic bottles, paper, glass, metal cans (please rinse first)

Black Bag – General Waste

Dirty tissues, foam, plastic bags, snack packaging

🌱 Why It Matters

Waste separation reduces pollution, supports recycling and composting, keeps our community clean, lowers waste management costs, and helps build a sustainable environment.

🙏 Thank you for your cooperation.

Holiday Travel Tips to Keep Your Home Safe

  • Turn off the main water supply or water pump (mandatory for all Nichada-managed properties) to prevent leaks or water damage during your absence.
  • Notify the Security Center if your home will be vacant during your absence. This ensures that our security staff is aware and can restrict access to your property and the interior of your home. Kindly send an email to security@nichada.com to keep them informed.
  • Cancel or pause non-essential deliveries and services, such as newspapers or routine visits. If any services will continue, kindly inform security.
  • Unplug non-essential electrical appliances to reduce the risk of power surges and save energy.
  • Secure personal belongings by moving bicycles and outdoor items indoors.
