Thailand National Teachers' Day (Wan Kru)

National Teachers’ Day in Thailand is celebrated every year on 16 January. It is known as Wan Kru, which means “Teachers’ Day.” This day is observed to honor teachers for their important role in educating students and guiding them to become responsible members of society. In Thai culture, teachers are highly respected and are considered moral and intellectual role models.

Teachers’ Day in Thailand was officially established in 1957. The main purpose of this day is to remind people of the value of the teaching profession and to strengthen the relationship between teachers and students. Although it is not a public holiday for students, schools and educational institutions organize special activities to mark the occasion.

One of the most important traditions is the Wai Kru ceremony, during which students show respect and gratitude to their teachers by bowing and offering flowers. This ceremony reflects Thai values such as respect, humility, and appreciation for knowledge. In addition, teachers often take part in merit-making ceremonies, including Buddhist prayers and offerings. Awards are also given to outstanding teachers in recognition of their dedication and service.

National Teachers’ Day highlights the importance of teachers as the foundation of education and national development.

Welcome Back! Let’s Start the New Year Strong

Nichada Fitness is pleased to welcome all members back after the long New Year holiday. We hope you had a joyful and refreshing break with your family and loved ones. As we begin the new year, we are excited to support you in returning to your fitness routine, rebuilding strength, and achieving your health and wellness goals.

Our team is ready to provide a safe, comfortable, and motivating environment for everyone. We look forward to seeing you and wishing you a healthy, active, and successful year ahead.

High PM 2.5 Days, Smarter Cardio Options

When PM 2.5 levels are high, cardio exercise causes you to breathe faster and deeper, allowing more fine dust particles to enter your lungs. This may lead to throat irritation, coughing, shortness of breath, fatigue, and increased risks to lung and heart health.

For your safety, it is recommended to avoid outdoor running or cycling and choose indoor cardio workouts instead.

Our facility is fully equipped with air purifiers to ensure you breathe clean air. Join us at Nichada Fitness to take care of your heart and protect your lungs in a safe and comfortable indoor environment.
